It does not verify memory QVL lists, BIOS-revision requirements, tall-RAM-vs-cooler clearance, AIO radiator fit or cable routing. Always confirm the motherboard's QVL and current BIOS support for your exact CPU/RAM before you buy.

What we check ▸

CPU ↔ motherboard socket match (error if mismatched)
RAM type ↔ motherboard (DDR5 vs DDR4 — error if mismatched)
PSU wattage ≥ estimated system draw + ~30% headroom (warning, advisory estimate)
GPU length ≤ case max GPU clearance (error if it won't fit)
Air-cooler height ≤ case max cooler clearance (error if it won't fit)
Cooler ↔ CPU socket support, and cooler TDP rating vs CPU TDP (warning if under-rated)
Motherboard form-factor supported by the case (error if it won't mount)

On a liquid cooler (AIO) we check the socket but not radiator fit — the pump-block height isn't the constraint that decides, so the tool says so rather than showing a clearance tick it hasn't earned.

How to use the PC builder

Start with the CPU or the motherboard — the socket is the single most important match. As you fill each slot, the summary on the right turns green (compatible), amber (a warning worth reading) or red (a hard incompatibility). A running estimate of the total price and power draw updates with every pick.

Green — no blocking issues found among the checks listed above.
Amber — something advisory, usually a PSU that's cutting the headroom close.
Red — a part that won't physically work with another (fix before buying).
